Hello, I am Alex Max a dancer at Santa Ana High School. I am a sophomore at Santa Ana High and I have been in Youth and Government for about five weeks. Through Youth and Government, I expect to become more knowledgeable on how to give back to my community. One thing I would like to change about my community is to better it aesthetically. One way I would like to do this is by having neighborhood trash clean up days. I would also like my community to be more responsible with recycling and not littering. Another beneficial factor that Youth and Government offers is that we constantly work on improving our public speaking skills. In my opinion, I think that this program is going to help me figure out what I want to do as a career. I have always been interested in law (Criminal Justice) and this program, I believe, exposes me to what this particular field has to offer. Through this program, I expect to improve my networking skills. I also expect to grow a lot and I truly believe that this program will help shape and mold me into a respectable and influential person. I believe that Youth and Government will help mole me into the kind of person I want to be. I want to be the type of person that can communicate and help anyone in need. I want to be apart of a team (ex. Police Force) that people know they can rely on for help.
